The Ashdown Rootmaster range just had a huge overhaul turning them in to the Rootmaster Evo amps. The RM-112T-EVO is a lightweight 1×12″ cabinet that packs a lot of punch even though it weighs just 10kg.

Serious Power

Rated at 300w this cabinet is a perfect match for Rootmaster Evo range of heads or combos. This cab can easily fill up a decent sized room when paired with a powerful enough head which for a cabinet that weighs this little is amazing. At 14kg this is light enough to carry on public transport if needed making the trip to any gig much easier.

12″ Tone

While 15″ cabs are amazing for when you need that extra low rumble, 12″ cabs still have enough low end to be felt but without overpowering the high end or midrange. The big joy is that 12″ speakers really respond well to the controls on any amplifier so if you like to frequently travel between many different styles the 12″ speaker is really a great option.

The Ashdown Rootmaster EVO 112T delivers a punchy 300 watts at 8 ohms through its single Ashdown 12″ speaker, bringing the bass to the front of the mix with comfort and standing out from the crowd with its distinctive, high quality finish, coupled with a dramatic reduction in weight.

Ashdown Rootmaster EVO cabinets are now loaded with custom NEW Ashdown White Line speakers for exceptional attack, clarity and low-end performance.

Tonally, the compact design maintains the low-end response with a more dynamic mid range. The addition of the tweeter provides extra high end and can be adjusted either to either hi, low or off with the three way tweeter switch depending on the player’s preference.

The new Rootmaster EVO cabs are made from light-weight ply to cut down on weight without risk to the signature Ashdown sound. A solid slim-line construction is paired with mindful design features such bar handles for ease of transport and easy stacking. The cabs are finished in Buffalo Tolex with a black cloth grill for a quality finish that truly stands out from the crowd.
