Eric ‘Raw Dawg’ Gales is undoubtedly one of the hottest blues-rock guitarists on the scene. He’s been called ‘the new Hendrix’ among other things – no small feat! And much like Jimi, Gales is a lefty player with soulful chops and pipes to match – and his tone is absolute magic. 

That tone is largely thanks to his signature amp with Italian manufacturer DV Mark. The Raw Dawg EG head offers up to 250W of power, with a preamp powered by a single valve. Thanks to its high headroom, this amp can kick out crystalline cleans at crazy volumes, making it a perfect pedal platform amp. With this bundle, you’ll get the Raw Dawg EG head, as well as Eric’s preferred vertical 2×12″ DV Mark cabinet and a connecting cable. Plug in and let rip! 

The DV Mark Raw Dawg EG Head

The DV “Raw Dawg” EG is a great sounding single channel head featuring an amazing Clean tone powered by a 6205 tube in the preamp section. Thanks to that, Eric can get a great super clean sound to use all his favorite pedals with, always getting that typical tube bite on it. A great sounding Reverb and a 250W MPT power amp complete this black beauty!

DV Mark DV Gold 212 V 2×12″ Vertical Guitar Cab

This new DV Mark cabinet series features a nice gold grill and the new DV Mark DV NEO Speakers Gold.

The slant of the top speaker in the 2×12″ vertical design allows to spread out more the sound than with the more common flat-front 2×12 cabs and to maintain the low-end you get from keeping the cabinet on the floor, but also keeps one speaker aimed at ear-level for onstage clarity of the mids and highs. The split-stack vertical design is perfect for stereo setup, allowing to have a real stereo panorama, utilizing one for each side.

It’s been designed to serve all Hard Rock and Metal players, but this speaker is actually great for many other genres where you need to emphasize overtones, glorifying bass and mid frequencies to get a solid tone with a great headroom and dynamic.
