In 2018, modern session legend Martin Miller teamed up with Ibanez to create his very first signature guitar — the MM1. Based on Ibanez’s AZ model, this top-quality instrument offered both a stunning aesthetic and a wide sonic palette. Fast-forward a few years, and Ibanez has collaborated with the German virtuoso once again to expand his popular signature series.

The new MMN1 keeps most of Miller’s original artist model intact, but now boasts a flexible HSS pickup configuration to meet his demands as a boundary-pushing musician who’s keen to explore even more sonic territory. Additional key features include a rock-solid Roasted Maple neck with a Rosewood compound-radius fingerboard, stainless steel frets, Luminlay side dots, Gotoh locking tuners and a bone nut.

• African Mahogany Body with Flamed Maple Top — The Maple top sonically enriches your picking response, while the African Mahogany body delivers a rich mid/low-end sound.
• Ergonomic Rear Body Contour — A shallow body back and big forearm contour make the guitar’s body fit you naturally, thus increasing playing comfort. The AZ body also has a deep waist and different radii on each body edge curve, making it easier to play in both standing or sitting positions.
• ‘Super All Access’ Bolt-On Neck Joint — Ergonomic design offers the feel of a set/through neck for unrestricted access to the highest frets, while providing the practicality and “snap” of a bolt-on!
• Oval “C” S-TECH Roasted Maple Neck — Ibanez’s special ‘S-TECH’ roasting treatment increases the wood’s stability, durability, water resistance and tolerance of temperature changes for rock-solid tuning. The neck is sealed with a smooth oil finish which helps make it feel similar to a well-played guitar neck.
• Jumbo Stainless Steel Frets with Prestige Fret Edge Treatment — Stainless steel frets boast excellent corrosion resistance, with the wide and tall fret-type offering a quick response and great articulation. ‘Prestige Fret Edge Treatment’ guarantees effortlessly fast playing.
• Luminlay Side Dots — Make it easier to see the fingerboard position marks when performing on dark stages.
• Seymour Duncan Fortuna Pickups — Deliver a moderate output and natural clean voicing, which accurately reflect your subtle playing nuances. From treble to bass, the overall tonal balance is evenly adjusted and works well with various effects pedals.
• dyna-MIX9 Switching System with Alter Switch — The dyna-MIX 9 offers nine sound variations and can switch between humbucker and single-coil modes with just a flick of the mini switch. One mode even simulates a humbucking sound from the combination of two single coil pickups!
• Gotoh T1702B Tremolo — Provides a quick response, with its snap-in construction making it easy to fit and remove the tremolo arm. The tremolo block and saddles are made of brass, facilitating better overall resonance.
• Gotoh MG-T Locking Tuners — Locking design secures the strings to make changes fast and hassle-free, while improving overall tuning stability.
• Oil-Impregnated Bone Nut — Minimises unwanted tuning slips by ensuring that the strings smoothly return to pitch after tremolo use.
