Lowden guitars are widely regarded as some of the finest acoustic guitars in the world. Revered for their exquisite craftmanship, premium tonewoods and impeccable attention to detail, Lowden have become a major force in the acoustic world. Founded in the 1970s by luthier George Lowden, each guitar is lovingly hand built in Northern Ireland using traditional techniques to keep the quality at the highest standards. Quite simply, Lowden represents the pinnacle of acoustic craftsmanship and each guitar is a true work of art!
The Lowden F-50C is without doubt, one of the finest acoustic guitars in Lowden’s impressive catalogue. Featuring Indian Rosewood and Sinker Redwood , the F-50C is an acoustic player’s dream! The F-50C’s exotic tonewood construction produces subtle tonal colours and a wide dynamic range. The Cocobolo back and sides has a complex tonal quality that is almost three dimensional, whilst boasting one of the most eye-catching grain patterns in the natural world! The Alpine Spruce top has a pleasant brightness and “zing” to it that beautifully complements the Cocobolo’s more mid focussed tone. The F-50C boasts a carved soundbox bevel for maximum comfort and playability as well as a stunning figured wood and abalone rosette.
Lowden 50 Series
