Lowden guitars are widely regarded as some of the finest acoustic guitars in the world. Revered for their exquisite craftmanship, premium tonewoods and impeccable attention to detail, Lowden have become a major force in the acoustic world. Founded in the 1970s by luthier George Lowden, each guitar is lovingly hand built in Northern Ireland using traditional techniques to keep the quality at the highest standards. Quite simply, Lowden represents the pinnacle of acoustic craftsmanship and each guitar is a true work of art!
The Lowden Stage Edition 32-SE is built with practicality and accessibility in mind. Featuring a market leading LR Baggs Anthem pickup, the 32-SE is designed primarily to be played amplified on stage, although it does of course sound fantastic when played acoustically too! When plugged in, the 32-SE delivers sparkly, dynamic acoustic tones so you can project to any sized audience – perfect for gigging musicians. The cutaway allows for additional comfort and easy access to the upper frets.
The 32-SE boasts a Rosewood back and sides and Spruce top, a classic tonewood combination that has been used on acoustic guitars for generations. It perfectly blends projection and dynamics with a crisp high end clarity and a warm midrange. As the Spruce continues to mature it becomes mellower, louder and more dynamic, yielding a more open sound as it ages.
