The Ranger is a modern, all-analogue overdrive inspired by the overdriven tones of some of the world’s most revered vintage tube amps. The Mode switch gives the Ranger two different tonalities for complete versatility. One on side, you’ve got a warm, expressive amp-like overdrive and on the other, a cleaner, more sensitive mode that can be controlled with your pick attack and your guitar’s volume control. This mode in particular gives the Ranger and “always-on” quality.

The Ranger features a classic 3-knob set up allowing for intuitive adjustment of gain, tone, and output level. The level control has plenty of headroom which means you can push it well beyond unity gain. By pushing the volume, the Ranger can be used as a boost to hit the front end of your amp harder, resulting in more grit and a tighter sound.
