This Seymour Duncan 59 is an iconic vintage styled pickup that is one of the most loved pickups available today. Although you will most commonly see this used as a neck pickup along with a hotter bridge pickup this is the bridge version that works amazingly for blues and rock tones like you would have gotten out of pickups from the late 50’s.
Based On A Legend
These pickups are based on some of the most iconic pickups in the world that could be found on large bodied singlecut guitars back in the 50’s. This creates a balanced and warm sound with a beautifully rounded high end that works amazingly for clean and crunch tones.
Vintage Spec
To emulate this classic sound you need to make this pickup as close to vintage spec as possible. That is why they have chosen to use plain enamel wire a long legged bottom plate and vintage single conductor cable. Made with an alnico 5 bar magnet this is a vintage spec pickup you will want in your guitar.
